Well now I have heard it all. I wonder if I will ever regret not getting a Topps Bernie Madoff baseball card as much as I regret thowing all of the Gretzky Rookie cards up against the wall and loosing them as a kid. Doubtful. I would take those hundreds of Gretzky cards I had as a kid any day. But if you like scumbags Topps has something right up your alley.
The Topps 2009 Allen & Ginter release will include cards of some 260 baseball players along with cards of historic figures and "world champions" from realms outside baseball. This year's product, though, will also nod to Madoff's financial chicanery as part of a group of cards featuring the "world's biggest hoaxes, hoodwinks and bamboozles." Among the other do-badders in the subset are Charles Ponzi, The Runaway Bride, and Enron. These cards feature 20 perpetrators of some of the most notorious pranks, dubious claims, and outright frauds of the last 2 centuries," boasts a Topps sell-sheet for the collection.
I sat in the dark for an hour on Saturday. Actually we always sit in the dark anyways. Too cheap to pay a huge hydro bill every month. Anyways there are some reallly cool Earth Hour Photos on this website. Just click on each picture to see the before and after. It’s pretty neat.

This is great. I love when the swears hit the news. It shows that somebody was asleep at the switch. During President Barack Obama’s virtual Town Hall on Thursday, CNBC inadvertently the word “bullshit”. It’s clealy a womans voice but who knows if it was a newsperson or somebody in the crowd. Funny either way. I guess they didn’t agree with his remarks about job training and infrastructure.
“But it’s a matter of making the investment in infrastructure and also then training the workers to be able get those jobs and that’s where we’re going to be focused on, that’s where the job growth is going to occur. One last point I want to make and I know I’m not supposed to talk this long.”
I hope this means that his info commercials aren't going to be running double time to pay for his leegal woes. It was bad enough watching the as it is.
As detailed in the police affidavit, on February 7th Shlomi punched a prostitute several times in the face after she chomped down on his tongue and refused to let go. The 44-year-old towel and food chopper salesman claimed he met Sasha Harris, 26, at a Miami nightclub, according to the police report. He then took her back to his hotel room at the ritzy Setai hotel, where he claims to have paid her $1,000 after she "propositioned him for straight sex."
But apparently the business transaction wasn't as neat and tidy as the products he promotes. When Shlomi went to kiss Harris, she "bit his tongue and would not let go," according to the affidavit. The Slap Chop pitchman then proceeded to punch Harris in the face until she finally released his tongue, the police report states.
He ran, bleeding, to the hotel lobby where security summoned police and both Shlomi and Harris were arrested. Police found $930 in Harris' purse, and reported both Shlomi and Harris smelled of alcohol, according to the affidavit.
At least he probably had something handy to wipe that blood up in a hurry.
Do your homework and make sure that there isn't a cop convention in town. I love this story. Totally the dumbest person I have read about yet.
"A retired police chief said he was robbed by "probably the dumbest criminal in Pennsylvania," at a police officers' convention on Friday morning. John Comparetto said as he came out of a stall in the men's room, a man pointed a gun in his face and demanded money. There were 300 narcotics officers from Pennsylvania and Ohio at the gathering."

You can take that as a literal if you like, after reading this story. I couldn't imagine why he wanted to be divorced from this insane lady.
"A woman attempting to reconcile with her estranged husband handcuffed herself to him as he slept and then bit him on his torso and arms as he phoned for help, police said.
Helen Sun, 37, told police she wanted to have a conversation with Robert Drawbough without him leaving. She changed the locks on their bedroom door and, while he was sleeping Monday, handcuffed herself to him, authorities said. Drawbough was able to dial 911 from his cellphone. Nearly out of breath, he told dispatchers he woke up handcuffed, was still bound to his wife and was holding her down, according to a recording released by police.
Dispatchers heard Drawbough scream in agony, apparently as his wife bit him."
