My wife and I were at the mall today and I saw a couple of kids playing around with yoyo's. I hadn't seen one in ages. I used to have a pile of them when I was a kid. I remember Coke used to give them away with bottle liners when I was younger. I thought that yoyo's were dead and gone but I was pleasantly surprised. I never really remember being any good with but with today's internet I bet I would have been better.

Flying under the radar with a name like Obiwan Kenobi is probably a hard thing to do. Even with the power of jedi mind tricks, which apparently this Obiwan Kenobi does not have.

ROSEVILLE, Calif. (KCRA) — Jedi-mind tricks apparently weren’t enough to keep Obiwan Kenobi out of the Placer County Jail.Roseville police said that over the weekend they arrested a 37-year-old with the same name as the Star Wars character on suspicion of hit-and-run causing injury. Kenobi was also wanted on an unrelated charge of petty theft, authorities said.Kenobi was arrested in connection with a five-vehicle crash that took place March 19 at Fairway and Rosehall drives.Officers said that three vehicles were stopped in the straight-ahead lane of westbound Fairway when another vehicle stopped in the left-turn lane. A fifth vehicle, which was described as a green Toyota, collided with two cars it tried to merge between. The crash set off a chain-reaction, causing two other vehicle to be hit.

Here is one thing that I didn't know. There is such a thing as a heated vest. Seriously, a heated vest. Where have these been all my life. Here I have been golfing in the spring and fall and freezing my tail off. Not that the vest would help keep my tail warm but it sure would help keeping things warm on the golf course. They are powered by a Lithium-Ion Battery and one charge will last for about five hours of heating time. That is truly amazing to me. I would have picked up one of these years ago.

You know you never buy clothes when you show up at a game of golf and everyone notices that you have a new pair of shorts on. I hate shopping for clothes and only go out once a year to buy new threads. Spring time, for the golf season. Today is miserable out so I am shopping online for some clothes. Found one site, Mountain Hardwear Clothing and they have some good prices and selections. So I am off to get some new duds to impress my golf buddies. I guess they care about what I wear more than I do.
