The old bird must be really hard up to go to a wedding.

Stung by criticism that his administration lacks anyone with experience outside of government, and perhaps being left off Prince William's wedding invitation list, President Obama named Rocker and International Do-Gooder Bon Jovi to the Obama Advisory Council .

In selecting Bon Jovi the president acknowledged that Michelle is desperate to attend the Prince's wedding, and that his father Prince Charles relies heavily on the BJ's advice. "Bon Jovi is the most admired \man in the world right now, and I look forward to his counsel"

Crazy. I try to get out of every wedding I have ever been invited to, including my own. I don't get what the draw is. Weddings are so lame. Some people are so broken they need to be made feel important by being seen.

The best one I ever went to turned into a circus. The groom's family speeches were about how the groom had pulled himself up from being a loser (like us I guess) and made good of himself. That was a free ticket to misbehave.

But still....Exactly what are the qualifications to be a Presidential advisor?

Nothing against Bon Jovi, but exactly what would he advise the President on?
