Last winter I purchased some new heating equipment for the house. It works fine and I have no complaints. That is other than the fact the company calls my cell phone once a week to see if I want my furnace tuned up. Insane. I had forgotten about it because my old cell phone had an ignore ringer feature. My new iPhone doesn't. I their number to ring silent but it still vibrates which you would think would be some fun but the phone is on a belt clip not in my pants.
This week I freaked out and lost it on the girl. Screaming many incoherent babbling and rants about cheese, black holes, ants and clay. Think they will be calling back? Probably, they have no morels. I am wondering is she is glad she has one of those customer service jobs. I guess she is more of a telemarketer. Below is a picture similar to the conversation we had.

I don't know how I became the helper guy but somewhere down the line I must have been too nice to somebody. I get a few calls for help which are mostly about fixing peoples computers but today I got a strange one. A friend needs help finding a 9th anniversary gift ideas for her. Her being his wife. I have to look at what is a proper gift for being together nine years and it appears to be pottery or leather. While I am sure he is going to opt for some designer shoes, a handbag or some type of leather clothing I think she will like a nice big leather leather golf cart bag. The more he is out of the house the happier she will be.

I was working on my basement today, tearing down the wood frame that was holding an old tile ceiling up. Not only did I have the pleasure of being covered in dust and dirt that had been collecting for the past 50 years I also got to step on a nail. Thankfully it wasn't a large nail and it didn't go all the way into the bottom of my foot but it was enough to make me jump. It made me think of those nuts you see on the internet that get a nail lodged in their head. I be this guy below is glad that he has a Medicare plan. I couldn't even imagine getting a nail that far into the old noodle and that's no small nail.

A friend of mine just got clocked pretty good going through a speed trap. He got a hefty little ticket and some points tacked onto his drivers license. Which means if you get enough of them you have to go driving school, which trust me is about as much fun as a kick in the head. He was commenting on how he would love to pick up a radar detector but after searching through google it looks like they are illegal in most provinces of Canada. He was still going to look for a radar detector or a radar jammer online. They look reasonably priced from what I could tell.

It's the Sunday of the long weekend up here in Canada. The weather looks like it's shaping up to be nice without that staggering humidity that we have had for the past month. The perfect day to have a few drinks and enjoy the weather. I think I am going to spend the day with a bottle rum and grab a few outdoor pillows and lay around the pool. Maybe have a little bbq with the family. Who knows what the day will bring. Enjoy your holiday weekend! See you by the pool.

I am sure we have all been there before. You get an email or phone call from a couple or friend that is looking for baby clothes and baby items such as car seats, playpens or cribs. I love to help a friend out. I know how expensive it can be to raise a baby, especially in the economic times of this day and age. We never saved any of our baby clothes because we never saw the need and the clothes we had saw their share of body fluids and second hand food. So what are we to do? My other half and I decided to go online and purchase some new toddler clothing. I guess this way the clothing will be new so they can pass it on to another friend or relative. It's like starting a new chain or something.

There are lots of people looking at the orginal story posted back in April of last year, Fight Over Boyfriend Ends In Stabbing.
Rachel Wade has been found quilty in the stabbing death of Sarah Ludemann and sentenced to 20 years to life. All over a dude. I guess if somebody wasn't dead I would have something further to say about gene pools but nobody needs to die over a guy.

I have been experimenting this summer with a radical new diet. It entails giving up the exercising and eating healthy and going with a strong regiment of drinking regular beer. It means just saying no to all light beer and most things that are otherwise healthy. So far it doesn't seem to be working out as well as I thought. As far as being the best fat burning exercise, it's not really it. I think I will have to look into something else.
I forgot that I had this picture on my god awful cell phone. It takes the worst pictures possible even though joe sales guy at the store told me it was awesome and he has one just like it. Ever hear that story before from an honest sales person? I forget that I still snap pictures from time to time and save them onto my micro sd card. The love of my life thought that this looked like a butt but I though it looked like something different. I will leave it up to you to decide.
