Clint Malarchuk you are our next canidate for the Barely Hanging on Award. For those of you not familiar with Clint have a look at the graphic video below. Clint is a former NHL goalie best known for having his jugular vein slashed by a skate in a 1989 game with Buffalo. Now he has done it again and accidently shot himself in the chin while out rabbit hunting with a .22 caliber rifle.  His wife, Christy, told police that the rifle discharged when he placed the butt on the ground between his legs.

When he had his jugular cut he took 300 stitches, spent one night in the hospital and was back with the team in four days. No word yet on how many days until he can get back rabbit hunting.

You watch the video and decide for yourself. Looks pretty convincing to me. Sounds pretty convincing as well. A federal jury that must decide whether a South Carolina state trooper deliberately rammed a fleeing suspect with his patrol car watched a video of the incident Tuesday, and heard the officer bragging about the collision.

During testimony, two Greenwood County sheriff's deputies who responded to the chase said Garren boasted about hitting Grant. Sgt. Derrick Smith recalled asking the trooper about striking the suspect.

"I nailed the (expletive) out of him," Smith said the trooper told him. "Yeah, I was trying to."

Finally somebody that is realistic. Kid Rock tells it like it is. Steal everything, the oil companies are just are rich as he is so why not steal gas. Apple makes a lot of money so start stealing Ipods. Heard this on Howard Stern yesterday so I had to find it on You Tube. Enjoy! It's a total classic.

Here's a real beauty for you. I wasn't sure if this was a barely hanging on candidate or just plain funny. Funny because I don't eat at Burger King.  No worries the sink this employee was bathing himself in was only used for cleaning utensils and the equipment that cooks your food for you. But hey, it was his birthday and maybe working at Burger King he can't afford his own place with a bath and shower.

Here's something you don't get to see everyday. A six legged deer that looks very health. Unfortunately he the two extra legs withstanding he ran into a pack of dogs that weren't of the friendly type. The deer was saved though and is currently being nursed back to health.

Finally a race we can all appreciate. Wearing high heels is hard work, and running in them is an entirely different skill. But that didn't get in the way of Russian girls participating in the Glamour Sprint race, where 100,000 rubles (around $4,000) was up for grabs. The race was organised by the fashion and beauty magazine Glamour. Girls had to wear shoes with a heel of at least nine centimetres.
