If you haven't heard this story you have been away from your tv. 
A quick recap of the events in the life of John Hamilton. Early Thursday morning, Hamilton, 48, of Sunset Drive was arrested when he refused to follow police orders to stop mowing an overgrown Central Park. He was charged with persistent disorderly conduct and obstructing official business.
What really happened is that he took it upon himself to be a good citizen and cut some grass that the city hadn't been cutting and clean some garbage up in a public park that the city hadn't been doing. For that Mr. Hamilton found himself arrested. Nice reward for trying to lend a hand to a poorly run town that can't do it themselves.
The aftermath, the morons that run the City of Sandusky come across as the douches that they are, then back peddle and blame it all on the media. It was the media's fault. Well know they aren't insisting that the charges be dropped, they couldn't go that far. They are "supporting" the idea that they be dropped. Douches.
Read the entire release in the Sandusky Register. It is quite a circus. Read the city's press release linked from the article. They still urge people to visit their town this summer. Hey, maybe you can get arrested for walking on the grass. What a blast summer vacation would be.
