Last week my insurance was up for renewal. The company I was with for 5 years decided to tag me for an extra $250 a year for my house insurance for no reason that I can tell. I haven't had a claim, ever. That set me out to look for cheaper house and cheap auto insurance. I found a new company, signed up and started my insurance on the due date. The funny thing is my old company told me I had to send my cancellation in writing. What the knob on the phone didn't tell me was that both my and I had to sign the sheet. So they call three days later to tell me this.

My question is, do I have double insurance for both my house and my cars? I will wait to see if they tag me with a bill for the week.
