Is that a sausage in your pants or are you just happy to see me? That's what the clerk at a 7-11 in Brooksville was asking when Brittany Gariepy walked up to the counter. Brittany had an obvious buldge in her pants and no adams apple to match. Hernando County Sheriff's deputies were called and Gariepy was arrested for shoplifting a Big Mama's pickled sausage.
The police report that, "Upon looking inside her vehicle, I was able to see the wrapper of a Big Mama pickled sausage, but the item had been eaten." Confronted with the wrapper, deputies say Gariepy confessed she'd eaten the evidence.
