Here is something you just don't see everyday. A woman in bra and panties, in a stolen tow truck, leading police on a wild chase. Police think she may have mental or drug issues. Do you think?
SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. — A woman is in custody after leading authorities on a wild freeway chase in a stolen tow truck.
It all started around 11:00 Tuesday in Downtown L.A. at 38th Street and Grand Avenue.
A spokesman for J.D. Towing says an employee was preparing to load a vehicle onto the truck when a woman jumped in and took off.
The woman caused a wreck at Vermont Avenue and Vernon, but she did not stop.
At one point the hood of the truck flew up, blocking the woman's view.
She pulled over and crawled through the window of the still moving truck on the side of the southbound 5 Freeway near Alondra Boulevard in Santa Fe Springs.
