I have nothing against playground equipment. I have fond memories as a kid going down the park with the rest of the kids in the neighbourhood to run around like a maniac on the commercial playground equipment. It was a sad day when the city pulled all of the swings and slides out of the park because they couldn't afford to maintain them anymore and the paint and glue sniffers moved in and called the park home.
I think about every time I look out my back window and gaze upon the backyard of my redneck neighbour that runs her illegal day care from her home. She has all sorts of deteriorating playground equipment scattered all over her dirty backyard. It's kind of like Sanford and Son for kids.

If you have a bunch of old video games kicking around the house here is a pratical use for them. I was at a buddies house Friday for a few beers and this is what he is using for beer coasters. Old XBox game discs. I think they look pretty good. MLB 2k6 has never seen better days.
Caught this while out for my walk with the dog this morning. Is it a sin that I used my wifi enabled iPhone to snap the photo and email it to myself?
A friend of mine and her husband recently purchased a motor home to do some touring around this past summer. Of course you can imagine what my first thought was when she told me they had bought a motor home. Especially when she told me that it was in need of some motor home repairs. I went out to see it the other day and of couse I didn't have my cell phone with me but it's actually pretty nice. It has these three cuties beat that is for sure.
As I get nearer to redoing my basement TV area I have to start thinking about getting some new furniture. My chair, couch and tables are a mess and an eyesore. I happened upon some designer furniture photos in google and couldn't believe what I found. While there aer some great pieces of modern furniture out there I can't believe that anybody would want this in their house. I guess they look okay but these chairs and couches would never be usable. People just have money that they don't know what to do with. I could find a million other uses for my cash.
We are in the midst of redoing our house and part of that process was a few new doors and windows. We did the inner doors to all of the bedrooms and the bathroom and the two outside steel doors. You could see sunlight through the two outside doors, it must have been great on the old heating bill. My other half is no phone. I wanted to put something fun and goofy on the door knob but she wouldn't go for it. We had to go the old traditional route. You can see from the picture what I wanted to go with.
