I have stayed out of the whole Tiger Woods thing but this Christmas Card gave me a laugh. Nice collection of babes.
If you are really bored then you can play the Tiger Woods Car Game. Get the real feeling of being a tiger behind the wheel.

I golf every week and never realized what a dangerous sport it coud be. I mean there are bears, snakes and shanked golf balls to worry about. I never thought about being robbed while playing though.
A man with a shotgun robbed a foursome as they were putting on a Fayette County golf course.
State police said the four men were on a green at the Linden Hall course in Tyrone when a man wearing a mask and holding a shotgun approached them from the woods around 4:50 p.m. yesterday.
He ordered the golfers to the ground and told them to empty their pockets. He pushed one of them, sparking a struggle in which the golfer was struck on both sides of the face with the gun. The victim then gave up his money clip with about $80.
Police said they later found the suspect, Cade Stevens, 25, of Dawson. He was in jail on $50,000 straight bond.

I am always looking at youtube videos or other online sources on how to make my golf game better. I found this great video yesterday which provided three great tips on how to cure a slice. The first drill in this video was the one that caught my eye.
Why do we slice a golf ball? For the most part it is an outside to inside golf swing that forces you to cut across the ball and put spin on it causing it to fly off to the right (for righties). This is my biggest problem. You can put the ball forward in your stance, back in your stance, stand closer and stand farther away but if you are coming across the ball you are going to slice.
Try this first drill, I went into the backyard last night and took a few swings that I thought were decent and sure enough I am coming across it and knocking that tee off. I am going to try it out on the range today.
Make the video full sized and pause the close up of the ball and between the tees for a better view of what he is doing.
I am a golf addict and I thought I would share a couple of tips that I have found that have actually fixed my golf slice. Forget buying 400 videos and magazines. I have tried everything like new clubs, longer and shorter tees and 100 goofy stances. None of these worked. It wasn't until two weeks ago I watched a video on "fixing the grip" that solved all of my problems.
You have to realize what causes a slice. A slice is caused by the club head being wide open when it impacts the ball. That's it. Fix that and you can fix your slice.
One, I was palming the club in my hands. That made it so loose that when I came around to hit the ball the club head would be flying open when it hit the ball. Grab the club with your fingers so you can get a tight grip on it. Grab it right in that ridge where your fingers meet your hand and not the crease in the middle of your hand. That causes you to palm it.
Two, use the "Strong Grip". Many people think that your left thumb should be straight down the shaft of the club. False. When you are holding the club and looking down as you address the ball you should be able to see three knuckles on your left hand. If you don't turn your left hand over towards the right more. Make that "V" that forms with your left index finger and thumb point towards your right shoulder. The picture on the Left is what you want. Try a few swings, it feels wierd at first but this will cause you to swing through with the club more square at time of impact.

You can also try tilting the club head a little more to the left when you first grab it. That will help you send it off to the left as well but those first two tips have totally gotten rid of a slice I had for all of last year and I have played 4 games this year with no slice.
A friend emailed me this today and I thought it was a must share in case any of you are golf nuts like myself. I would love to take a swing at it. You have to watch the video to believe it.
"The world’s longest and highest par three, the signature hole at Legends Golf and Safari Resort, has its tee box poised at a dizzying height atop of Hanglip Mountain, 1 410 feet above the green and is only accessible by helicopter! This means that the ball needs to travel an incredible 830 metres from tee to green (the total distance across and down)!
Balls hit off the tee are estimated to have a 'hang time' of 26 seconds……."
