I went out looking for a little stereo to plug my iphone into so I could rock the tunes when I am on the go. They range in price and size and being the cheapskate that I am I went looking for the most inexpensive solution I could find. In the end I wound up buying a little set of mp3 speakers. These little speakers are perfect for playing music on the go. I don't really need a boom box or big portal docking station for my iphone. I just needed little speakers that can crank out a bit of sound.They do. I take them out on my deck, to the golf course and out by my hot tub. They are light, small, compact and play music with some sound. What else do you need to blast your mp3's and itunes music?

Do you remember reading 1984 in school? I sure do. For me that was long before the internet came to be. I recall it being a little far fetched to me but plausible. Nowadays it’s all too real. You have gps in work cars tracking your every movement, smart phones with secret files tracing your habits and security cameras taking pictures of you scratching your butt while you walk down the street. You can’t even run a yellow light any more without getting a photo sent home along with a ticket. It’s crazy but I was thinking of starting to wear an aluminum headband inside my ball hat. I am living with the feat that I might finish my days out as a THX.

Being a big t-shirt guy I was pretty stoked when I came across a website that had loads of pretty cool looking funny big brother t-shirts. What could be a better way to let the man know that we know what they are up to? Looking through the shirts I noticed that they also had a good collection of shirts dedicated to real big brothers. I grew up being a big brother, not volunteering as one but as one to my younger sisters. I think they would die of they saw me in a big brother tee. They would get a kick out of it for real.

This guy doesn't seem to be a big fan of Google Street View. I was actually looking for information on a church when I came across this guy.

Why does my other half have to put everything I need on the top shelves in the house? I notice that all the items in the house that she uses on a regular basis are on the lower shelves on the kitchen. Isn't that always the way. Last night I went looking for the Pepto after downing some hot wings and of course I have to get a stool out to get at it. The only thing on my mind as of late is where I can buy step stools to make my life easier. I wonder if she would like looking at those all over the kitchen every day. I guess I could just take and idea from these guys and make due with what I have at home but I don't the dog is going to like it much.

I don't know why sales people have to play the old game of "this is the best product out there, I have one at home" when they clearly appear to own nothing at home. My last nightmare purchase was a set of cordless phones that the sales girl ensured me that she owned at home and just loved. I have been putting telephone batteries in them ever since and could never get a decent connection when out in the backyard with them and trust me I don't live on a large ranch. Far from it.

I think that I am going back old school with some of the technology in my life. I remember that last telephone I had that never game me any grief. I wonder if I can find one.

With the fixing up of my old moldy basement I have been on the hunt for a games table to add to my man cave but I am having a hard time deciding. I have enquired on a classified site about a couple of air hockey tables but to no avail. Nobody seems to be in a hurry to write back and sell me anything.

I have also been considering a shuffle board or table tennis but I am not sure if I have the room. In high school we used to have ping pong tournaments all the time and then later on in college our bar hang out had a shuffleboard table. I wouldn't mind either of these two but they can be a bit of a commitment in household space.

In light of my hunt for a games table I present to you a bizzare table tennis match. 

I have but two real choices when it comes to shopping for electronics and gadgets. You would think between the two stores I would be able to find what I am looking for but you would be sadly mistaken. All I really wanted today was some stereo speaker mounts, some replacement ear buds for my skull candy headphones and some information on tv's. I came home with nothing.

Lets take the big box store which shall remain named as Future Shop. They had to have 100 employees working and I couldn't find anyone to help me for about 15 minutes or more. I literally had to interrupt a guy watching a movie in their speaker stereo room to get some help. Nice start. I bought a pair of speakers from them recently, Bose. They had no matching speaker mounts that would accommodate them. Nothing. I noticed they sold tons of Skull Candy headphones but when I asked about replacement buds I was told they exist but they don't carry them. The college kid working told me they were thinking about it. I guess I will go to eBay and buy them from China for .01 plus free shipping. I didn't even bother asking about tv information. There was one guy in that section and he was talking on the phone. Future Shop isn't bad if want to watch a movie with the staff for the afternoon, get 15 people to help buy a cell phone or watch 6 other people stand around the front check out cash. How do they stay in business?

The locally owned store was a piece of work as well. It didn't matter what product I was interested in the 1970's greasy Herb Tarlek look a like would tell me that I didn't want that one. You see I needed the one that 10X the price because that is what he has at home and it's great. Love the outdated commissioned salesman. After about 10 minutes of that I felt violated and went home and had a shower.

I think I am going to stick to my old way of shopping online and dealing with the consequences. I've made out allright so far doing it that way. I don't know why I thought I needed lazy college kids and greasy used car salesman. Already tonight I have been reading led tv reviews online and have figured out a couple of models I like.

Believe it or not there is a Mrs. Barely Hanging On who has her special day coming up soon and I was thinking of among a few things getting her a fancy gift basket. I was thinking there has to be a number of different kind of gift baskets for her birthday and I wasn't wrong. There is everything out there you can think of from the erotic to the exotic. In the end I am sure something involving chocolate will be the order of the day. Chocolate solves all problems in my household.

Then again if I buy something that gets me on the golf course and out of her hair, she might be as happy.
