I am at least hope that there is lawn bowling, darts or something interesting on the old tube instead of having to watch the probowl. I can't think of a more useless, unncessary sporting event. Oh wait, I almost forgot about the NHL Allstar game. It's about as exciting as getting kicked in the head. You don't need to be a Oklahoma City lawyer to figure out that even the players don't want to go and play. How many of them have been scratched this week for not showing up to meetings and practices?  I'll take the Lingerie Bowl any day of the week.

I have stayed out of the whole Tiger Woods thing but this Christmas Card gave me a laugh. Nice collection of babes.

I am always looking at youtube videos or other online sources on how to make my golf game better. I found this great video yesterday which provided three great tips on how to cure a slice. The first drill in this video was the one that caught my eye.

Why do we slice a golf ball? For the most part it is an outside to inside golf swing that forces you to cut across the ball and put spin on it causing it to fly off to the right (for righties). This is my biggest problem. You can put the ball forward in your stance, back in your stance, stand closer and stand farther away but if you are coming across the ball you are going to slice.

Try this first drill, I went into the backyard last night and took a few swings that I thought were decent and sure enough I am coming across it and knocking that tee off. I am going to try it out on the range today.

Make the video full sized and pause the close up of the ball and between the tees for a better view of what he is doing.

I missed this last night as I was watching the Yankees game. I love to see this big fat head get owned by a skinny little pitcher. Pretty funny to see a big oversized round fat guy get thrown to the ground by somebody half his size. Keep reaching for the stars Kevin, your team is sucking and you are helping them out by being suspended. Bright.
