Xbox overseas outsourced support is totally useless and a nightmare to deal with. It's an endless parade of reference numbers that go nowhere. If you don't believe me the just call them and get into the billing department and make some enquiries about your account.

Feb 19th: I get the old Red Ring of Death for the third time in the past two years. What a joke. They just keep sending me the same old refurbished piece of crap xbox 360's that keep breaking down again and again. I get into an argument with the support guy that speaks terrible English. I want the box to ship it back in and he wants to send me shipping stickers. I tell him I have no box in my house to put this xbox into and I am not buying a box to fix their refurbished problems. That is how we left the conversation. A box was to be coming. Reference number given.

Feb 28th: No box in the mail and it has been over a week. I call to cancel my Xbox Live Account as I am done with Mircrosoft. It takes me the better part of an hour to get through to some lady that I want to cancel my account. She keeps asking me for my addreess, my phone number, my gamer tag over and over and over and over and over again. I keep telling her over and over and over. I finally get it cancelled and I want to speak to a supervisor . I get a supervisor on the phone that tells me in broken english that since this is my third broken xbox360 that they will replace it with a new one and will call on Tuesday March the 3rd to discuss this with me. Reference number given.

March 4th: No phone call yet so I call them and get a person that speaks english pretty good. Problem, her computer is down and only her computer and she can't transfer me to another support person. I have to call back and speak to the computer again for 10 minutes before getting a human being. I get back in speak to a person with horric english who just doesn't get what I am talking about. She is rambling and say um, um alot so I ask for another supervisor.

This jerk David who's name is far from David (he might have those letters in his name) tells me that there is no record of my phone call on the 28th other than me cancelling xbox live. Unreal, the number they gave me only makes reference to this and nothing to do with talking to a supervisor. Again with the stickers and box. He tells me it's my fault for not calling sooner to report the box not showing up. What a jerk. He tells me that I am getting a 2007 refurbished xbox360 back whether I like it or not and that the company fixes them 100%. We argue about how a good a company fixes them when they break 2 months later.

I have been without an Xbox360 for at least 4 months over the past two years because the Red Ring of Death and I have been horrified by the suppport staff that Mr. Gates has hired to deal with the problem. Bye Bye Xbox. It's all going to be sold on Ebay when I get it back. The thousands of dolars in games, controllers, live accounts and guitars are all going to Sony from here on in.
